Orders
Arctic Health accepts orders when payment is received. As soon as payment is received, the buyer will be sent a confirmation by e-mail. The right is reserved to confirm orders by telephone in exceptional cases.
Delivery time is usually 2-4 working days after the order is received and payment has taken place but could be longer around Christmas and big shopping days. The product is sent directly to the buyer's home in Iceland via Pósturinn.
Shipping costs
There is no shipping cost on shipments within Iceland. Products are sent as a letter with Posturinn.
Shipments to countries other than Iceland are free FOB.
Price
11% VAT is included in the price of the product. All prices are subject to typographical or typographical errors and Arctic Health reserves the right to cancel transactions if incorrect prices are given. If the product is not in stock, we will let you know and refund if payment has been made.
Deadline for submission and right of refund
Products ordered online can be returned within 14 days and receive a refund. It is a condition that the product is undamaged in the original packaging and a receipt is included. Customers must bear the direct cost of delivering a product. Customers must notify their decision to withdraw from the contract with an unequivocal statement to that effect within the 14-day time limit, which is e.g. This can be done by sending an e-mail to ahi@ahi.is or sending Arctic Health a standard termination form which can be found on the Consumer Agency's website www.neytendastofa.is (where further information on the right of return can also be found), after which Arctic Helth will provide customers with a receipt upon receipt of the termination. Attention is drawn to the fact that the burden of proof that the right to withdraw from a contract is exercised in accordance with the provisions of Article 19. Act on Consumer Contracts no. 16/2016, rests with the customer, cf. point g of the first paragraph. Article 5 of the Act.
Payments
We offer two types of payment options, credit card or Netgíró.
You can pay for the product in the online store with a credit card through the secure payment gateway Valitor who have received PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) security certification.
You can also pay by Netgíró. Netgíró offers cardless online transactions. You need to have access to Netgíró to use the service, for those who do not have it, you can register the signers. When you pay with an Netgíró, you only need to enter your ID number and password and then the order is completed. An account is created for an online bank customer who must pay within 14 days, interest-free.
Web security and privacy
When you use the ahi.is website, information about your visit will be available. Arctic Health ehf does not share them with others.
Arctic Health respects the privacy of its customers' personal information. By visiting the website, you agree to our terms of privacy and security.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that the website can place on your computer or other smart device when you visit the website of Arctic Health ehf, www.ahi.is for the first time. The text file is stored on users' web browsers and the Arctic Health website knows the file. The information in the text file can be used to monitor users' browsers on the website, improve the service, etc. This enables Arctic Health to send certain information to users' browsers and can make the user experience more enjoyable. Arctic Health's use of cookies

Arctic Health uses Google Analytics for web tracking. No further information is collected about each visit and no attempt is made to link such information to other personally identifiable information.
Service Siteimprove is used for the web in a similar way to Google Analytics, for example, to count visits and to find broken links that users click on as well as improve the user experience on the web.
Personal information we collect
We may collect personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number in connection with the processing of your order or other communications with you. For example, we record the personally identifiable information necessary to deliver the product you purchase. Also, financial information and address for the account, and personal information such as email addresses, address, telephone number and destination of the consignment. The financial information is used only to collect payment for the product you purchase. All personal information that may be created during the use of cookies will be processed and processed in accordance with the provisions of Act no. 77/2000 on personal protection and handling of personal information.

At the bottom of all targeted emails sent by Arctic Health ehf, there is also a "unsubscribe from mailing list" button that offers to have the email address to which the mail was sent removed from the mailing list.
Shopping on our site

And it may not be used in connection with any product or service without the written permission of Arctic Health ehf.
Confidentiality
The seller names the buyer in full confidence in all information that he provides in connection with the transaction. Information will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
Venue
This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. If a case arises as a result of this, it shall be taken to Icelandic courts.
